Happy Birthday to me.
Today is my 17th Birthday. Apart from the smses, the verbal wishes, the msnes as well as the friendster testimonial (singular), it was rather mundane. Nothing special. Didn't even go out to celebrate. Boohoo. Ended up at home straight after school. How much loser can one get? haaha.
BUT THEN maybe it was because i already started celebrating it on Saturday with the family as well as on Sunday with the Sunshine.
Saturday was okay, i guess. Kinda sad that my closest cousin Annisa couldn't tag along, but hey all's well. There was a terrible jam at Woodlands which made all of us grumpy and strung up (after having to stand for 45 minutes). I, personally, was standing in a corner, my rib being poked by random nonyas. Was getting kinda bad mooded and foul-mouthed until i realised my aunt+grans gave me 100 bucks which of course, took ALL the pain away. Teehee.

We headed to City Square to shop with my money, and i ended up buying nothing much for myself except random bits and pieces but splurging most of my moolah on my younger brothers. To make up for their non-existing birthday presents this year i guess. haha. Oh well. Kinda regret spending my money without thinking twice cuz now i need to scrimp and save for my iPod. Bleargh.

The food at Hyatt was great. Especially the crayfish and the Nasi Ayam. We ate and ate and ate for 3 hours. Total bill was Rm$320 for 7 people. Mom sure had a lot of spare cash. Would have been better if she gave the money to me, of course. But i shall appreciate the fine food all the same. *Burp* Thanks mom!

I love my Sunshine. Sunday was great. We roamed about at Bishan to watch Battle of the Bands, but the sheer amount of people rubbing bodies against each other drove us away, so we ended up skipping that and heading straight to Secret Recipe. Yum! I loved my spaghetti. The tab was quite high, thus we decided to split the cost. We later headed to Westmall, where we ate the pie at Burger King. *slurps
Now that sounds like how a normal date sounded like. But the difference was that he treated me like a queen (usually it was like a princess). wahaha. I feel so pampered. The way he talked to me etc everything was purrfect. At first i was kinda disappointed that he didn't get any cards or whatsoever for me, only wishing me a happy birthday. But then he totally surprised me at 12midnight and then left me to die from diabetes.
Time: 12am
Location: On bed.
Action: Sleeping.
*RING RING*
"Hello?"
"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to Faddy! Happy Birthday to you!"
"Aww thanks dear. You're the first one to wish me on the day itself."
"Aik? You sleeping already?"
"Yah.. Quite tired lah.."
"Oh ok. I won't hold you up k? Just do me a favour and check if i left my worksheet in your file."
(Brain recognizes same trick; the way he gave me the ring on my finger)
"Awww! Thanks dear for the letter! Can i open it now?"
"Uh. You put down the phone, read then call me back can?"
"Uhm. Why must like that?"
"Oh.. Malu lah. hehe!"And to which i gladly tore off the envelope. Inside was a 2 page letter, handwritten and equipped with a poem as well as a cheque from Fris & Co which is worth S$150. hahaha. So cute lah he. I called him up, and we chatted for another 20 mins or so, afterwhich i slept with a smile on my face.
Thank you Hakim, XiuLi, Luqman, Hidayat, Fana, Nasuha, Farez, Claire, Rhino, Dana, Fara, Rad, Sang, Haz, Bulimic, Jannah and many many more people (sorry guys but i can't possibly write down all your names. Sorry ya) for the kind wishes. Today would have been super bleak if not for you guys. -smiles-
